    Living in New York

Quinn and I are living in NYC this summer. Quinn is working extremely close to the Microsoft office, so we're living within walking distance. Going into an office has some advantages. First, there are lots of people there and it's convenient to meet in person. More importantly, there's a Starbucks in the building. While I've moved to decaf, this still brings me joy.

I spent 10 days near Seattle for the North America Imagine Cup finals last week. It was great to see the final projects and to complete our first year of the new NA Software Design invitational model. I also saw a lot of friends, some of whom I roped into being mentors for the final six teams. (thanks guys!) I also played soccer without injuring myself! Although I did get a bruised swollen finger out of a game of air hockey… I'm blaming it on Stephanie, my Imagine Cup counterpart on our Marketing team. :-) I'll post more with pictures tomorrow.
